My experiences stem from working with children of all ages within a variety of educational and therapeutic settings that ultimately led towards my work with at-risk children as a Family Based Therapist. Working hands on with families in their homes within authentic and relational setting(s) (i.e., home and community) had shaped my learning experiences and identified my growth as a person and a therapist. My work prepared me to differentiate my therapeutic approaches and enable connections that no traditional clinical experience could offer. Fast forward, working as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have the privilege to work with a variety of populations, with clients ranging from mild to severe mental health conditions. I offer a warm safe setting that enables a professional therapeutic collaboration and growth towards client centered therapeutic goals. I continue to rely upon evidenced based interventions to help guide our therapeutic relationship towards progress or help uncover potential barriers to that may impede your therapeutic progress.

College can be rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you're adjusting to campus life, feeling stressed or burned out, struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating concerns, dissociation, low self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone. At Sacred Forest Counseling, I strive to provide an unconditionally accepting space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. I also offer a unique nature-informed approach to counseling for students who find healing and clarity through connecting with nature. From my experience and current research from the EcoPsychology field, it can be said that healing often happens when we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and draw wisdom from the natural world. Whether we meet outdoors or virtually, therapy is always tailored to your individual needs and goals. I have experience working with undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students and understand the unique pressures that can come with balancing academics, relationships, work, and personal well-being. If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I'd love to connect. Reach out today to see if Sacred Forest Counseling is the right place to support your journey.

With specialized training in treating anxiety, grief, and trauma, my goal is to empower you so you can get back to feeling more like yourself. Sometimes life feels big and fast, and really painful. You might be going through a major transition, dealing with a loss, or coping with intense stress. Whatever the cause, you’re left with the sense that things just aren’t right. Overwhelming as things feel, inside of you, there’s also wisdom and a great capacity to understand and heal what hurts, so that you feel more peace internally and experience more enjoyment as you navigate challenges, losses, stress–whatever life puts in your path. Together, our work will be to find and nourish the wisdom and ability that's already within you. I meet you with openness to all the parts of you, whether they’re critical or criticized, anxious or calm, heavy with sadness or energetic and driven. We work to access and open up the gifts these parts hold and to connect with the core you that’s so full of wisdom and vigor. Life slows down. Healing begins. And a brighter, clearer path opens up before you.

My passion is working with clients who struggle with eating concerns and body image issues. I have experience with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. I can also help if you feel that your relationship with food and/or exercise is complicated but have not been diagnosed with an eating disorder. I practice from a Health at Every Size® perspective and offer an inclusive space for all. I value being empathetic while challenging my clients to step outside of their comfort zone and unlock their strengths. Taking the first step to get help and support can be intimidating but it can lead to growth and change! My approach to treating eating disorders is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as emotional exploration. Sessions focus on emotional awareness, thought exploration, mindfulness, and reducing avoidance. I also treat co-occurring diagnoses such as anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and depression. Whether you have been struggling for some time or are just curious about therapy, feel free to contact me. I am open to phone consultations prior to the first session. One phone call or email can be the first step to change and a growth mindset. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to hearing from you!

Do you feel stuck? Perhaps you recognize that something in your life isn't working and you've tried to fix things or make changes, but it didn't work and you find yourself feeling exhausted, defeated, confused, helpless, hopeless, or overwhelmed. Or maybe you have no idea where to start. You've landed in the right place because getting unstuck is my specialty. Reaching out for help is a courageous choice. I am honored to provide a safe space for clients to pause, reflect, process, learn, and grow. My goal is to empower clients to live fully and embrace a lifestyle that sustains a sense of well-being. I am licensed in NY, PA, IL, and NH, which allows me to support students year-round who may live in one state and go to school in another, or who plan to move to another state following graduation. Transitions are often a time of increased stress so finding a therapist who can be present *virtually* throughout is important. In addition to our work together in session, I make use of an app that is free to my clients to provide resources between sessions and collect data to create a personalized approach to treatment.

I believe that warmth, understanding and compassion are the key to any successful and supportive therapeutic relationship and these qualities are the foundation of my practice. I have been providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families for a number of years in a variety of settings and one thing has always been the same; I learn something new from each and every client and the relationship that is built through the course of treatment is where the healing is created. I tailor my approach based on the needs of my clients and collaborate with them to identify their goals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of PA, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of OH, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of FL. I have also obtained several other certifications: National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) Board-Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH) Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGS) I believe that individuals are doing the best that they can given the skills and resources that they have available to them. Supporting individuals, couples and families through life’s complex phases by providing a safe, compassionate space to explore their feelings and build resilience, using a grounded, present-focused approach to foster healing and growth. I maintain a special interest in supporting men through societal expectations that discourage emotional vulnerability, leaving many to cope silently with stress, isolation, or unresolved pain. Additionally, I have a passion for supporting children, adolescents and their families where they face mounting pressures from social media, academic demands, shifting family dynamics, and global uncertainty. Many struggle to make sense of their identity, emotions, and relationships in the midst of constant stimulation and comparison.

Easton, PA

Six Ten Counseling is a group practice of 19 licensed therapists in Easton, PA — five minutes from Lafayette College and an easy drive from Lehigh, Moravian, and Northampton Community College. We work with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, eating concerns, substance use, grief, relationship stress, and identity exploration, and our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming. We know reaching out is often the hardest part, so we've made starting simple: no referral needed, we respond within one business day, and instead of assigning whoever's next, we listen to what you're working through and match you with a counselor whose training and approach actually fit. If the fit isn't right, we'll transfer you to another counselor in our practice — no awkwardness. Sessions are available in person at our Easton office or by secure telehealth anywhere in Pennsylvania or New Jersey — which means care can continue uninterrupted over winter break, summer, or after graduation for students from either state. We're in-network with Aetna, Capital Blue Cross, Cigna, Geisinger, Highmark, Horizon BCBS, Optum, Anthem, and UnitedHealthcare, including most student and parent plans, and we're happy to verify coverage before a first session. Our counselors hold advanced certifications in EMDR for trauma, perinatal mental health, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused care. Currently accepting new clients.
