College is stressful and sometimes you just need someone to talk to who isn't your roommate or your parents. We do virtual therapy across Michigan, so you can hop on a session from your dorm, your car (not driving), wherever, no commute needed. We work with college students. We specialize in Anxiety, depression, family & relationship issues, feeling lost about what you're doing with your life, we've heard it all and none of it is too small to bring up. Sessions are online only. We take Michigan Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS, Blue Care Network, and Aetna, plus we offer a sliding scale if you're paying out of pocket as a student. Cash pay is $125 a session (reach out if you are looking into sliding scale!) Text or email us and we'll get you set up. Call (734) 215-5404 or email Jake@FullerFamilyCounseling.com

My personal passion is connecting with those who feel like no one really understands them. I can empathize, as several times in my life I have had those very same feelings. My goal is to help and inspire those who feel disconnected and struggling in life. I aspire to help my clients feel satisfaction, comfort, and joy. With years of experience providing therapy for members of the LGBTQ+ community, clients struggling with spirituality, sexuality, or addiction(s); these topics are my passion and where I have been able to help others navigate. I have real-life experiences such as serving in the military, some trauma, and chronic illness and pain. I have over 20 years’ experience with both civilian and government positions in the fields of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Child Advocacy, Chronic Illness and Counseling/Educational program delivery to the community. My focus is to help you through growth, change and resolution. Your journey is as distinctive as you are.

Hello my name is Maureen, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of psychotherapy experience, and everyone is welcome in my practice. I live in Lapeer County, Michigan and have strong ties to Detroit and surrounding area. My therapy practice is via telehealth. I’ve worked with people who have had a wide range of challenges and who needed the help of a compassionate and skilled therapist. Because of my many years of working with a very diverse population of people, I’ve been able to create a very eclectic style that I believe takes the best of each therapy model and am able to create a very tailored treatment for each person who allows me to help them on their journey. I help people to recognize and utilize their strengths and believe that people have the best answers for themselves and need to learn how to find them and use them for their continued growth. I love using interventions that combine supportive and goal directed strategies as well as focusing on the mind-body connection. My favorite form of therapy is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I’m also trained in Attachment Therapy, EMDR, CBT and many others. I’ve always invested a lot of time and energy into improving my skills for the benefit of my clients, so I frequently attend continuing education seminars and conferences. I’m an Open Path provider (for people who need to pay based on their ability to afford it). I'm also a Give an Hour provider and donate pro-bono services for our military, veterans and their families. I value the opportunity to help everyone get the therapy that they need.

Whether you are struggling with 'adulting' or other life changes, I completely understand your need for life to be easier. Through our time together, you can begin to feel a sense of calm and get back on track to living a purposeful life. As a therapist specializing in life changes & anxiety, I am committed to helping you find more life balance and a sense of inner peace. I work with both individuals and families. With two decades of experience, you can rest easy knowing you are in capable hands. Your life is hectic and choosing a therapist can be overwhelming. If I'm not a fit, I can provide you with referrals. I primarily work with young adults and other helping professionals (teachers, nurses, physicians, and other therapists) who may be struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, family problems, and/or navigating difficult life changes. My clients typically begin to experience gradual relief within 2 months of weekly sessions. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy with strategies from many effective treatment types including ACT, Brainspotting, IFS Informed Parts Work, and Motivational Interviewing. You can expect your experience to be welcoming & casual (never super stuffy or formal). I believe in honoring each person's strengths & consciously creating a space where you can feel free to be your authentic self. Walk & Talk sessions are available in Flagstaff during summer months and in Chandler in the winter. **Now partnering with Mentaya for help in submitting your out-of-network insurance claims.
