I'm a psychotherapist working with people who are ready to make positive changes in their life but somehow continue to feel stuck. If you want to learn strategies for healing from the mental, emotional and lifestyle issues that hold you back, then I can help. If you understand that therapy is a process and not a magic pill, I am here to support you on your path of exploration. My clinical expertise is working with survivors of trauma, sex abuse, social injustice, and domestic violence. I also work with individuals, couples, and families on building healthy relationships, coping with loss, overcoming anxiety and depression, as well as issues specifically relating to the LGBTQ population. If are ready to embark on a journey of transformation into being your most authentic, emotionally balanced and life-embracing self, I will create a safe, compassionate space for you to do this crucial recovery work. Let's talk!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of school, grades, social groups and trying to keep up with everything you're supposed to be doing? Maybe you find yourself comparing yourself to others, wondering if you're falling behind or not doing enough? Maybe you’re overwhelmed by school, work, family expectations, pressures of needing to know your life goals or all of it at once. You might feel stuck and need some support and or just exhausted trying to balance everything. Whether you're navigating college or grad school, exploring relationships, or dealing with family pressures, I’m here to walk alongside you. If you’re in that in-between space, thinking you need to have things figured out, questioning yourself, or just trying to keep up, I get it. Therapy can be a space to unpack and process, where you can slow down and start to explore what matters to you and what are some patterns that may be holding you back. You're not alone if you're asking questions like: "Am I doing enough?" "Why does everyone else seem to have it figured out?" "How do I make time for myself when everything feels urgent?" Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, grief, or the social exhaustion of trying to stay connected while also needing space this season of life is a lot. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are. I offer a space where you can show up as yourself. I believe in being real with you, validating what’s hard, and gently helping you explore what feels stuck or confusing. We’ll talk about things like identity, relationships, stress, loss, and how to care for yourself even when everything feels like it’s moving fast. Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or just trying to figure out your next steps, my intention is to walk with you and offer a steady, supportive space to explore, grow, and heal. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan with a specialization in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health and Mental Health and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. I draw from a person-centered approach, believing that my clients are the experts in their own lives. My role is to offer support, perspective, and tools as we work collaboratively toward your goals.

Hello! I am a trauma therapist for women navigating motherhood and life transitions. I specializes in supporting women navigating motherhood, grief and loss, neurodivergence, and life transitions. I work with adult women who may appear to be managing life well on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. Many of the clients I work with are processing trauma, adjusting to major life transitions, navigating ADHD or autism as adults, or finding their way through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I am particularly passionate about supporting women who are learning to better understand their emotional and physical responses, reconnect with their sense of self, and develop new ways of relating to their experiences.

My availability is flexible and I offer in person (East Lansing) and Telehealth. I work to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. I believe that all components of one's life are interrelated. Stress, crisis, life changes and uncertainty happen to everyone, often without warning. When crisis or chaos strike, it is comforting to have someone listen in a safe, open, non-judgmental space in which you can uncover the inner strengths and skills you already possess.
